Ocean Hues is located at the outskirts of the city of Kannur which is well connected by various means of transport. National Highway 17 (NH-17) between Mahe and Talapady, passes through the city of Kannur. Luxury Buses ply regularly and every city in Kerala is connected to this beautiful city. The roads in the city are well planned and well laid out.
The nearest airport is situated at Karipur, Kozhikode (Calicut) which is 115 kilometres close to Kannur. There is another airport at Mangalore(Karnataka) which is an International Airport and is about 150 kilometres away. From both airports, there are daily flights available to Mumbai, Bangalore, Gulf and the Middle East.

Kannur is a major railway station on the Shornur to Mangalore line & almost all the trains stop here. To reach Ocean Hues, you need to board a passenger bus, plying regularly to Kizhunnappara or hire a taxi at hand to reach Ocean Hues Beach Resort, about 12 kilometres away from the buzzing Kannur railway station.
We also provide pick-up and drop services to our guests based on their request, to-and-fro from Calicut, and Mangalore airports at an affordable price.
Seasons
The most pleasant weather in Kerala is found from October to March. The summer temperatures are high and the weather will be humid. The heavy monsoon rains come just after the summer months, in June and July. Occasional rains are seen in August also.
Best Time to Stay
The best time to stay at Ocean Hues Beach House would be from October to March, when the weather will be pleasant, with moderate temperatures from 20’C to 33’C. This will be the ideal time to enjoy the beach & the sea, with the weather promising blue skies & bright sunny days.
Visit Ocean Hues from June to August, to drench yourself in the rains & get a feel of the Kerala monsoon. For those who enjoy the monsoon season, this would be the best time to lay back & spoil yourself at Ocean Hues.
